"First Communion Class" All interested parents and children are invited to the First Communion Class on Sunday,
March 4th, after worship to learn why we do what we do in the Lutheran church. The class will be from 12:15pm until
2:00pm and will include lunch (pizza) and activities. Please call the church office if you are interested in attending.
LYO will be having a Soup Lunch as a Fund Raiser February 25th after worship for their 20`8 Gathering trip to
Houston this summer. The menu includes four different soups, bread, crackers, and dessert. A free will donation will
be taken. Come support the youth as they participate with 30,000 youth and adults in service projects, worship, and
learning projects! All are welcome !!
Greeters are asked to shut off all the lights in the church and foyer, turn the fans in church off, turn the thermostat
in church to "run", pick up used bulletins and trash from pews, see that all doors are locked or have someone lock
them for you before you leave. With Pastor Bill no longer doing this, we are asking the greeters to help with this.

vases & silk flowers and tulle have been moved to the old kitchen. Feel free to use them to decorate the basement. Please clean & return them to the same area. A few very tall centerpieces remain in the old storage area and can also be used. See Kathy in the church office if you have any questions.
CLN NEWS contact: Dallas (366-7477) or Sarah (366-6201).
We will start to serve the meals at 6:00pm. If you have a preschool child, we ask an adult to stay and eat with them.
CLN Worship service will be at 6:30pm and classroom studies will be at 7:00pm. We ask that you please come in and
meet your kids at 7:30pm to pick them up. We want to aviod kids running around the parking lot in the dark, so we
prefer to keep them around the area of the stiars until the parents come to get them. Thanks for helping us keep
your kids safe.
Thanks to all who have donated time and food to this ministry in the past and those who have stepped up to make
this year another success! We always need more helpers to provide desserts, clean up after the meal and as
substitute teachers. If you can help us out, please contact Dallas (366-7477) or Sarah (366-6201).
